Comments :

André built this glider from a plan. It is interresting to note that his functions are mechanically mixed. This way, using a simple 4 channels non programmable radio, ruder and ailerons are coupled helping make coordinated turns. The elevator is mixed to flaps so the glider maintains it's attitude when flaps are activated; finally a fourth servo makes it possible to control the entire wing's trailing edge. Those four servos are in the fuselage.

Last fall, André made glide tests that are very promising. Real first flights will be next spring.
