Alexandra Horowitz, Ph.D.
Alexandra Horowitz enseigne en psychologie au Barnard College, Columbia University à New York. Elle a obtenu un doctorat en sciences cognitives à l'université de San Diego. Sa thèse a été l'une des premières à porter sur la cognition et la méta-cognition des chiens domestiques. Au Dog Cognition Lab qu'elle a fondée, elle étudie notamment la communication et l'attention animales, l'olfaction canine, le jeu inter espèces, la théorie de l'esprit, l'anthropomorphisme. En plus de publier dans les revues scientifiques, elle publie régulièrement dans plusieurs magazines grand public.
